To resolve this issue, please follow the instructions below:
Navigate to your Tango Profile Settings, edit your account information, and make sure that your information is accurate. Once you're done, save your account information.
Note: Adding your email address enables Tango to keep your account more secure by allowing you to verify by email.
If you previously registered with the same email address:
You will now see a prompt to enter a verification code. This code will be delivered to your email address (please check your spam and junk folder). Enter the correct verification code in Tango and your phone number will be verified. If you do not receive the code within 5 minutes, you can tap on Verify by SMS.
If you don't receive the email or did not enter one in your previous registration:
You can verify by SMS. A prompt will appear to send a free verification SMS to your device. Once you receive the SMS, launch Tango and enter the code.
Note to Android users: If the SMS arrives but your account is still not verified, make sure you do not have a 3rd party SMS application, such as GoSMS installed. This may conflict with your device's native SMS application. Please disable/remove this application and try the above steps again.
Note to Android tablet users: You will need to register a different phone number and email address for each device you wish to use Tango on. See the Related Articles below.
