What is Tango?

Tango is a FREE all-in-one messaging, entertainment, and social networking platform enabling people to connect with friends and family in a way that is easy, spontaneous and fun! In addition to video calls, you can use Tango to send FREE unlimited text/voice messages, photos and videos. With Tango, you can also join in group chats, send Animated Surprises and music clips, play interactive games, follow Tango Channels, and socially connect with other Tango users.

We want as many people as possible to use Tango for all their calls, so we offer our service for FREE! Tango uses your internet data connection and does not use up the minutes of your calling plan. In addition, Tango calls over Wi-Fi are always FREE wherever you are!

What do I need to use Tango?

Tango currently supports Android phones/tablets (OS 2.3 and ), iPhones (iOS 7.0 and ), iPod Touch 4th generation and ↑), and iPads.

(Tango versions for Kindle Fire and select BlackBerry devices also available)

I want to Tango! How do I get started?

Registering for Tango is easy and only takes a few minutes! Once you register, you can immediately use the Tango service to stay connected to your friends and family.

How can I Tango with friends?

Tango imports the contacts from your device’s address book. If your friends already have Tango installed, their name will automatically appear in your Tango Friends list. Just tap their name and start to Tango!

With a single tap, you can invite your friends through email or a text message to Tango with you. Your friends will receive a personal invitation from you to join Tango. Once they register, you can Tango right away!

 * If you are not able to see contacts in your Tango Friends list, please check out the following topic: Missing Friends

Will I be charged for using Tango?

If your mobile service includes an unlimited data plan, your mobile provider will not charge you for using Tango. If you have a plan that limits your data consumption, please be aware of your usage to prevent overage charges from your provider.

Tango allows you to send invitations through SMS. Please check with your mobile service provider for any fees that may apply if not already included in your plan.

 * If traveling outside the country, make sure your mobile plan covers international data roaming to avoid surprises on your bill when you get home. Call your mobile service provider to ask about international calling and data plans before you leave. Tango does not assume any responsibility for any unexpected charges.
