Overview

In order for you to see people in your Tango Contacts list, they need to have downloaded and registered with Tango. If you know a friend has registered with Tango and you have their registered number in your device's address book, you should be able to see him or her in your Tango Contacts. If you're not able to see contacts in your Tango Contacts list, please check out the following topic: Missing Contacts.

You can also invite your contacts to join Tango by inviting them from the Tango "Invite" tab. Simply open Tango, then go to the "Invite" tab and send invitations to your friends by either SMS or email.

If you don't see a person under the "Invite via e-mail" or "Invite via SMS" tabs, please make sure that his or her phone number or email address is saved in your device's local address book and remember to re-fresh your contacts.

How to Add Contacts:

1. Once you launch Tango, select the Contacts tab

2. Press the Menu button

3. Tap Add contact

4. Enter your contact's information, make sure to enter phone number in the following format:

+(country code)(area code)(phone number)

- If your friend is using a device without a phone number, make sure to save their email address in your address book

5. Sometimes it is necessary to refresh your contacts if your contact has re-registered or reinstalled Tango. Simply close and reopen Tango to refresh your contacts.

Deleting Tango Contacts

In order to delete a Tango contact, simply remove that number and/or email address from your device's local contact list and refresh your contacts.
